About Brooklyn
Helping you slow down, reconnect with your body, and leave feeling different than when you arrived.
Hi, I'm Brooklyn, a licensed massage therapist and the person behind Breathe Easy Therapeutics.
I became a massage therapist for a pretty simple reason: I want people to feel good.
We live in a world that constantly tells us to go, go, go. We're expected to be productive, available, connected, and always moving on to the next thing. Somewhere along the way, taking care of ourselves became something we squeeze in when we have the time.
I don't believe it should be that way.
For many of my clients, the time they spend on my table is one of the only times they truly disconnect. Phones go on Do Not Disturb. The outside world gets quiet. And sometimes, it takes almost the entire session just to take a deep breath, let go, and allow the body to relax.
Then, almost every time, I hear some version of:
"I need to do this more often."
And I couldn't agree more.
More Than Just Massage
I'm passionate about helping people understand that bodywork isn't simply a luxury or an occasional treat. It's an important part of taking care of yourself.
I love what happens when the body finally gets permission to slow down. Massage can help shift the body toward a more relaxed, parasympathetic state, creating space for deeper rest and recovery. When we sleep better, recover better, and feel better in our bodies, we have more capacity to show up for everything else life asks of us.
That's the part of massage therapy that fascinates me most—the connection between the body and the mind.
With a bachelor's degree in psychology, I'm especially interested in how those two systems influence each other. I'm passionate about helping clients not only address physical tension and discomfort, but also create opportunities to reconnect with themselves through intentional bodywork.
Always Learning. Always Growing.
I have so much more to learn about the human body—and that's one of the things I love about this profession.
I'm continually expanding my education and developing my skills in therapeutic massage, medical massage, Brazilian lymphatic drainage, and post-operative lymphatic care, while continuing to explore new ways to provide thoughtful, effective bodywork.
At the same time, I believe I have so much knowledge to share.
I want my clients to understand their bodies, recognize the value of consistent bodywork, and feel empowered to make taking care of themselves a regular part of their lives.
My Goal for Every Session
I don't want you to simply feel good for the hour you're on my table.
I want you to feel changed when you leave.
Maybe your shoulders feel lighter. Maybe your body feels more relaxed than it has in weeks. Maybe your mind is quiet for the first time all day. Maybe you sleep better that night. Maybe you leave thinking, "I really need to make this a priority."
And that's exactly what I hope for.
Because the goal isn't to wait until your body is demanding attention.
It's to build a stronger relationship with your body and make caring for it part of your life.
Your body works hard for you. Let's take care of it.
